Spending after-dinner time on the porch reflecting on the past week and planning ahead to the upcoming week.

I ran across Growth Roots Co. a year ago or so. I have used bits and pieces of the journal and add-in pack, but not to the full extent. Tomorrow I am going to take the time to go over all the add-ins and use the growth journal. I’ll let you know how that’s going.
Sarah has been gone all weekend but is on her way home from Northern Virginia. Rachel arrives tomorrow for Spring Break week at the lake. We girls have a shared note going with lots of ideas of what we want to do this week. Although hanging out in the living room in our jammies watching movies is never off the table. Can I just mention that having two daughters who share my love (and OCD) about notes…what a blessing!
The last few weeks have been…off. Russell is working full-time at Webster’s Marine. Sarah and the pups are here with us for a time. I will write more about the relationship we have developed. Soon. Every dream I ever had about relationships with our adult children has come true.
I had planned on writing this afternoon, but I recently subscribed to BritBox and have been binging As Time Goes By. I’ve always been an Anglophile. Loving all things British, especially their shows. It was a toss-up between ATGB and All Creatures Great and Small…the original series. I read and re-read all the ACG&S books growing up. Still have my original copies on my bookshelf. Sarah, my animal-loving clone, never got into them, if I recall. But we are going to binge the old series and remake this month.
I will be adding more photos and content soon. Recently purchased a new DSLR Nikon D750 and the difference (upgrade!) from our old Nikon D50 is pretty overwhelming. Taking some online classes and planning a day in the life with photos.
Just want to leave you with this: I find it very easy to get caught up in the not-great things going on around me. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety ever since I can remember. Each day I have to remember the positives, the blessings, the things I am thankful for. I write them down. I read them. I remember.
Love y’all.
