June 25, 2019.

Last week, the husband and I were at one of our favorite places to eat. He went up front to chat with the owner so when our server (also a favorite) came by we had a moment to chat. Somehow, we got around to the subject of age and aging. I think I had mentioned that she looked tired and I asked if everything was okay with her. She commented that she had only had one day off the last 10 days and at her age, it was hard to recover from. I laughed and said, “yeah, I am so feeling our age these days.” She snorted a quick reply of, “our age? I’m twenty years older than you!” I asked her how old she thought I was because she is NOT twenty years my senior. She said, very seriously, “47 or 48.” My turn to snort. “I’m 58.”

The conversation continued for a bit. She couldn’t believe I was 58 because I didn’t have any wrinkles on my face and neck (which I do) and that my skin looked so young and amazing. I told her I have very good genes. My grandmother was in her 90’s when she died, and no one ever believed she was older than 80. My mom also has great skin and it really wasn’t until she had chemo and radiation for cancer that she began to lose elasticity and moisture in her skin.

For the last four years or so, my morning product routine has included coconut oil and Frankincense essential oil and about a month ago I started adding a drop or two of Lavender essential oil. I also ingest several supplements, to include collagen peptides every morning. Once or twice a week I use an overnight product like this one at bedtime and that’s about it. I can tell when I am eating clean(ish) and sticking with my morning routine, I feel better and look better.

Message me if you would like to know more and if you are interested in receiving it, I will send a free sample of my morning skin care combo (frank and lavender) that you can add to your regular moisturizer to the first 10 people.
